Wasn’t the knee up off the ground when grounded?

So stupid

This team has some decent individuals, but really lacks in key areas. Reckon the team last year would have had a great stab at the title, but the lack of a tight five is really hurting us. Hard to truly rate the loosies and backs as a result... Tangitau and Springer look the business, whilst Hotham a good raw talent, though I wonder if he is not quite quick enough for the New Zealand style of game. Passing is also sometimes a shade suspect.

I play on better grounds each weekend than this.
Some of the players with SR experience have been really poor for NZ. Taylor's throwing, Hotham's passing and Godfrey's kicking.
I can't believe there is only 2 kg per man difference in the forward pack.
I'll watch the 2nd half on a replay. It ain't going to be pretty playing into the wind.

Cant see many future All Blacks in this lot

Coaching is not good for the NZ side,we seem to really not have a game plan for the conditions or to combat the French.
What are we really trying to achieve
The players look like they have been thrown out there with a hope you can turn shit into gold.
They look lost and under prepared. -
@Steven-Harris Will be fascinating to see the progress of Lakai and Clark, but the rest of the forward pack just is not there. Tangitau and Springer perhaps, I always thought Faleafaga was highly rated, so intriguing he was taken off. Everytime I watch him, he has looked slick. They might get him on at the break.

@Steven-Harris I think that's mainly due to our pack, particularly the frontrow.
Make that equal, and you get a different game.
