Hurricanes 2024

Hopefully we get him back for the playoffs. That’s 7 weeks away.
-
Honestly that's better news than I thought we'd get.
He could potentially be back come finals time. However, I'm thinking it's more than likely he'll be on the higher end, or more of that estimated time frame out.
Hopefully not though!
And, for his sake as well, means he's not going to miss any ABs tests if he's named.

This is a big loss.
Getting Coles back if possible is almost a must. But he's a level below Aumua now.
I have been worried about injuries. It's a bigger concern than the Blues form. That was why I was all for resting lots of players vs the FD. Lomax had a rest but Aumua should also have been rested. But, too late now.

@antipodean Terrible news, he's been in the best form of his career.
At least, it's not longer.
-
Oh no wheels are starting to fall off.
Can’t wait to play the canes in the 1st v 8th QF. -
Recovery time of 6-8 weeks suggests partial tear. Source: I did my MCL in 2022.
-
@antipodean how long did it take you to recover?
-
@Canes4life difficult to know exactly as there were other issues as a result of running out of
tractiontalent on a bike, but I was back in three months. -
@chchfanatic Have to ACTUALLY win games first champ before you start thinking of a QF.
-
@chchfanatic last throw of the dice this weekend good luck

Hunters to play the NZ Under 20s
I wonder why Sangster has dropped down to the Dev side. Maybe they couldn’t be bothered sending him over to Aus.
-
@Canes4life Are you going to the game? It doesn't appear to be on Sky.

“The coaching staff have been outstanding. There’s been an extra level in detail and preparation – they’ve challenged us with different ideas and created a culture of healthy competition and care for each other.”
Hmm, that doesn't seem to bode well for the All Black's attacking strike plays, the guy designing them (Holland) is apparently not very big on attention to detail...
