What does Leon MacDonald bring to the All Black coaching team exactly?
Dunno. But it'll probably bring us a "What does Rangi have on Razor" thread

What's the biggest margin in SR finals?
Let’s not get carried away. Our second half performances this season haven’t been the best part of our game….
All those injuries to your star players means you've probably only got like two internationals on your bench too. Gross.

First half is a good argument for having a three team final series in this competition.
Hahaha.

The difference in physicality between the two packs is staggering.
Do the Blues even lift ?
Blues pack has been impressive this season at least from my viewing. But they can’t get their hands on the ball and all the ball chasing is catching up with them.
Because they are losing the ruck battles badly
This should be death sentences for some AB aspirations

I haven't read any comments but obviously Nepo had his one game good this season and Ofa is back to being a marshmallow.
None of the Blues starting front row can carry the ball. Compared to other contenders and the better NH teams, this is a substantial weakness.
That the coaching team persist with it, while having the loose forwards spread across the field, to be served by the decision making prowess of Christie should send alarm bells ringing in NZR.

Crusaders are looking formidable.
That last maul should have been pulled up though. Can't stop and go sideways like that for that length of time.
I thought Crusaders were looking good a few weeks ago but this is a step up.
Not the game they lost though
At least in the 2nd half lol -

Crusaders pedigree. Case closed
Razor really is the odd one out of the Crusaders pedigree coaches - Hammettuer, Gibson, Mauger, Thorn, Rangi aren't exactly a great advertisement for the pedigree.
McDonald has done OK with the Blues. They were a rabble for long while before him.
Today Blue's not looking great but don't get carried away.

Holland beat the Crusaders 2 weeks ago. Holland gets shat on far too much when the real fraud is Leon.

Impressive first 40 from our front row. Very prominent at the ruck and shifting bodies like the Franks brothers.

On paper, I thought the Blues had the marginally better line-up, given all the Crusaders injuries. But they haven’t turned up either mentally or physically. Clearly, the plan - after the last encounter when they kicked the ball away all night (and badly) - was to play to their strengths out wide. But that was predictable and required holding onto the ball. They were impatient, pushed passes and were easy to read. Their pack offered nothing and their much vaunted all-AB loose forward contingent of Ioane, Papalili and Sotutu were spectators. Just flakey and outclassed across the park. Good to see Will Jordan back in form. Definitely the end of Beauden Barrett’s career.

At least in the 2nd half lolHaha, well actually it was in the first half of that game that I made the comment.
Didn't age well short term.
Looking a bit better now.

Well said. People have short memories. He has done a pretty good job.

Taylor has been huge. Hopefully thisnis him building in to the year, not his last breath like the last couple
