The last four batsmen for Sri Lanka all got their highest test scores.
Hopefully, that bodes well for our batsmen.
Southee beats his best score again? that would be fun to watch lol

Interesting to see Andre Adams right up this First Class wickets list. Chat's average is a good reminder that Hadlee didn't take lots of wickets just 'because no-one at the other end' at the top level.
Im sure Payne will post soon, but Latham now second only NZ opener to reach 5000 test runs
Shout out to Payne for that fantastic EPL jersey lol

John Wright first obviously given I’m fairly sure he opened his entire career. Who is third ? Scrolling down the list I’m assuming Glenn Turner then Mark Richardson.
It’s not a position we’ve had an abundance of talent in to be fair ( then again historically you could say that about every role )

Latham needs to have one of his significantly large home innings right now, I cant see him and Devon being on 200/0 later today though..no chance
I’m looking forward to this being a massive reverse jinx.
You'll have a long wait ...

Wow, I’m genuinely shocked that Martin Guptill who had what I’ve always thought of as a short and unsuccessful test career is sixth !!

D K Morrison and M C Sneddon also on the list, each with a well compiled 1* to win a Test match together.

With Conway & Williamson out and 200+ runs behind, this is when Nicholls at 4 and Bracewell at 7 suddenly starts to look a little ominous.
Be positive. Mitch jr and Blundell thrive for adversity. I’d certainly like that run rate to lift though !

Counting on those two and Latham.
