Nice one. And on a general point if you're the sort who is likely to forget, make your tips at the start of the week when the results come out - submit again close to the first game if you want to change and I'll use your latest tips.

The site was down when I posted the results this morning so here is the summary from the weekend. https://www.thesilverfern.com/tipping
Best of the weekend was Bartman with 49, one of only 2 (along with OleOleOle) to pick all 6 results. If you reached 40 you had a pretty good score. Tim bagged 42 to lead by 1 from Bartman and GT12. Low score for the weekend was TR with just 22.
Barbarians take over at the top by a point from the SunJags, the only teams with 2 wins from 2. South Island are propping up the table.
Your score next weekend matters - the top 32 scores go into the 1st Round of the TSF Cup.

The first weekend where anyone reached 50 points and it was Higgins, Triple T & Unite who had 50 each. Higgins now leads by 5 from Plastered Peni with Tim dropping back to 3rd, Triple T & Unite move into the top 10. Kruse & Rico#1 were the only tippers to get 5/6 with the Drua and Rebels wins catching most people out.
Barbarians won again to be the only team with 3/3, the SunJags in 2nd and still unbeaten. BoP Chiefs and Blues A make up the top 4 but only 2 points between 3rd and 7th.
The first round draw of the Cup is shown - if you were in the top 32 of scorers this past weekend, you're in the draw.
Finally, OleOleOle leads the table for picking results - 15/18 picked correctly so far.

Category points were important and these enabled Higgins and Winger to top score with 64 apiece with Antipodean on 62. Blues v Crusaders was the key game to pick correctly. Higgins now leads by 18 from Triple T with Hydro11 and GT12 level on 3rd, 2 points back. Moving into the top 10 were Bartman, Antipodean and Dolamite to replace Donsteppa, OleOleOle & Unite who crashed out. After a terrible start, Winger is up to 12th.
The draw for the 2nd Round of the Cup has been made, change the drop-down to First Round to see why you didn't make it. I won the 3 way replay to get into the 1st round which gave me the pleasure of being thrashed by Higgins.
The match of the season took place between Hurricanes Gold and Barbarians with the Canes inflicting the Baa-Baa's first defeat 54-53 with those totals the top 2 of the weekend. 4 scores over 50 for the Canes. With the BOP Chiefs defeating the SunJags (Kruse forgot to turn up), there are now just 4 points covering the top 6.

18 of the 43 who tipped went for the Crusaders - pretty unusual for the Crusaders to not be Fern backed.

Only Rebels v Reds was a difficult game to pick so there were plenty of good scores around - and the category picks were make and break given that Unite and OleOleOle scored 20/20 for those and quite a few got nothing at all.
Unite picked 6/6 to grab the highest score of the season with 67. Crucial scored 62 and OleOleOle and Victor were on 61. Higgins bagged 59 to establish a huge 30 point lead with positions 2-10 separated by only 5 points. GT12 is 2nd, Plastered Peni 3rd and Bartman, Hydro11 & Triple T share 4th place.
In the teams comp, wins for Barbarians, BOP Chiefs, Canes Gold have them in the top 3 positions and Blues B beat Blues A to get their first win of the season. In the Cup, we are down to the final 8.

@KiwiPie I have tried picking on a monday this year, so I don't forget lol, but then sometimes the teams aren't as I expect and maybe I don't alwatys check I've ticked the right teams lol, or more likely I just not very good at it??? I keep trying to pick the an upset result game to be smart too! lol.
Actually I wondered if my last weeks game went in as the wrong team to, as I had a feeling it showed me as being in a Blues team at some stage. -

Now after you have fixed the obvious mistake it looks like you have got me by the short and curlies with just one pick different between us in the games to come! Whatever the result that is unlikely to deprive you of the win. In fact I don't think it is even possible.

Tipping results are up along with the tipping form for next week. Only 4 games per weekend for 3 weeks as each team gets a week off. Points wise, these rounds will be scored at 15 points per result pick and 5 per category.
Best of the weekend was Crucial with 62 points, a second successive 62 and now just outside the the top 10. 59 for Chimoaus, Mikedogz and Dogmeat on a weekend when around half of the tippers picked 6/6 results. Higgins retains his large lead, now 28 points with previous champion Hydro11 in 2nd and Bartman, Winger & Triple T 5 points behind in 3rd.
Wins for BOP Chiefs, SunJags and both Hurricanes teams means that the Chiefs take over at the top with the SunJags just outside the play-off places.
The Cup semi-finals are Winger v Laurence & Langakali v Dolamite - we'll have time for a 2nd cup comp as there are still 10 rounds to go.

Then - I suddenly remember that I can't buy 'offie' booze, and I have only 2 cans of beer in the fridge. Fuck.
Then - I finally come across this thread... and realise that my reminders for tipping are on my work laptop... and I haven't done shit about tipping until halfway through the first game.
