Hammington eh? The Chiefs really are stockpiling halfbacks.

Manawatu halfback Kayne Hammington has been called into the squad and onto the bench for a potential Super Rugby debut. The Chiefs had had Samoan international Pele Cowley training with them but he has since got injured.

He would be no.5 in the pecking order.
-

TKB is injured...jeez, when is the Chiefs bye?

Was listening to Rennie on the radio today, he reckons Pulu is probably one of the quickest in NZ rugby right now.
-

Force, Brumbies, Blues and then the bye. After that it's only three games to the next bye and only two games to the June test break.

Gutted TKB and ALB are out but at least both replacements are quality. Hopefully TKB comes back real soon though, as I think the TKB and Weber combo is pretty fantastic. They compliment each other really well, whichever one starts, the other changes things up once they come on and can catch defences unaware.

And, of course, stoked to see Donald on the bench.
-

The Force will be gutted to see no Yamashita there.

-

Here's an article about Hammington. In this instance he cut short a holiday in Melbourne - respect. I didn't realise he is a similar size to Weber.

11 gone and the Chiefs look like they just got back from flying around the world.

As I say that they go the length of the field and Mckenzie scores :)

Will defer to you Gt12
-

About 3 of those passes could have been checked
