Three from there I think . One from the Chatham Islands but none from Stewart island that I can recall
Americans - Solomon (much earlier), Kaino of course, the third?
There was two Solomon’s in the abs , they were brothers from American Samoa but one was born in Fiji .
I’m pretty sure Tongan born Walter Batty was the first Pi ab. He went on to be a in the NZ artillery in the North African campaign and be given a medal for his bravery under fire .

That'll be it - not sure if Fijian born counts? I only remember them because one of them was a relation of Josh Kronfeld somehow.

He’s not around to ask but if the rest of his whanau were American Samoan he probably thought he was too .
Then you get guys like Jamie Salmon

@jegga Yeah, don't think there was much in the way of eligibility rules then (or who you "identified" with). Kaino was always called the second US AB so depends on how you define it.
Just googled - interesting. Dave was a step brother and their dad was the mayor of Levuka (then Fijian capital) before they came to NZ.
Amazing the things that you learn whilst trying to avoid doing any work.

Interesting, so I guess that settles it .
Weird that we had a player with West Indian heritage before one with Pi

When I saw I had replies to my earlier post, I was sure it would be about tits not tests, boobs not blacks.

@Victor-Meldrew all blacks.com has no AB's born in North America.
American Samoa?

Robert Mathieson.
Bruce Hunter also has a record that won't be beaten. He played in both AB tour games in Perth held on the same day in 1970 on their way to SA. Scored 5 tries across both games too.

Occasionally, we can talk about sport, if we have to, but Aura does have some great features.
Change the thread title to areola watch

The deeper we go into the tourney, the more Aura grows

The Haka and Perenara’s court jester routine have started to annoy me recently.
I’d be happy if they stopped.
Here’s a better solution - exclusively for you: Don’t watch it. Go to the loo, take a piss before kickoff; alternately, go to the ‘fridge and grab another beer. Nobody is forcing you to watch.

+1 I haven't watched it in ages

Thanks Mr Obvious.... I had always assumed the world would end if I wasn't sitting on the couch watching.

to me it feels more like a commercial stage show than the challenge it used to be. It's the microphones, and the "ooh which one will they do" followed by "oh it's the old one, they don't respect you bro" and the legislated allowable responses. It's a sideshow, play the bloody game.
And it's lead by a bloody half back.
Note: the advantage shit is absolute horseshit though.

@mariner4life dont forget the fans disrespecting it!
I still like it, but agree they make too much of it.
