All Blacks vs Scotland

I am not sure - during that Scottish yellow card on Dempsey - he was leaning/moving past the AB as if he really was going for the ball as well..

Rieko, premier midfielder.
Some people on here think he’s not a centre’s arsehole
He can be quite an arsehole and he's a handy centre though.

Telea great debut, gives us an option to drop Clarke now.
I'm not sure dropping Clarke is only optional. More of a necessity. Not RWC ready.

I don't care if he doesn't have an arsehole at all if he plays like that.

Smith, Mo, Reece, JB, Reiko, Telea, BB for England

I loved that our bench came on when we were under the pump and provided both a steadying hand but also upped the tempo and energy. TJP was critical because maintaining possession was what we needed and he provided that. Our forward replacements made a big difference too by playing direct.
From ALBs YC to about the 58th minute we played some ill disciplined, high error and at times just dumb rugby.
Pleased to get the win because the last 20 was pretty good.

Perenara's best ever test. Amazing. What a return.
I know it was off the bench, but fuck he was ever present, on the button with his options and no fannying about. Where has this guy been? He was Christie on roids.

It does show you the value of form (and the NPC).
He had a wonderful NPC campaign and played really well for AB XV last week.

TJP was great
JB was good
-> Smith, Mounga, JB, RI, Reece, Telea, BB
JB at 12 makes a big difference
BB-DH-ALB didn't work -
Will take that.
Random thoughts.
Made ourselves work harder than we needed.
Beaudy has lost his mojo.
ALB improved toward the end, but Rieko clear No.1 at 13.
Groot not as good as he's been.
Loosies were very very good.
Only possible surprising thing about Dalts being official POTD was it wasn't Ardie.
Telea looked alright.
Cap'n Sam looked to lose some composure tonight. I'll go there ... is he up to the captaincy? Remember the '19 SF ...
How did they not score?
Think both sides would have some concerns about the ref, but I couldn't really pin point specifics.
TJ's career is not over.
More random thoughts as they occur.

Lienert-Brown fans: he is absolute shit. Should never be anywhere near international rugby. He's slow, he's a bum. Rieko is 100x the player. Deal with it.
ALB was better in the second half and he was dealing with Christie, BB and Havilli inside of him plus a pack that was under performing. Not saying he is RI but shit first, better the second.
As long as TJP is passing well he can work a froward pack in close to the rucks. Plus he always is good defensively.

I always wondered what BB would be like when his pace goes. I think we are seeing the answer now.

@booboo Sam came out of the sheds a little more vocal after a great period by Scotland. And Ardie was too. Also helps in the leadership stakes when your 90 test 1st 5 starts to play with a bit more purpose and not helter skelter
-
The fact is Scotland played well for large parts of the game
