He's the biggest culprit, and arguably the person who has the most impact on executing the game plan

- Your main sport is soccer and the tackling was too hard
- Your parents named you Timothy
2, 8, 12, 13 were also very good as was the team generally.

Hell yeah, great idea. Just when the midfield is starting to gel and is play well, let's break it up and start all over again with a player who has never played a test at 12. Geezus.
I can see the reasoning behind moving Jordie to 12, he certainly has the attributes to go well there. But Foster has already said he sees Jordie as a 15, and there's not really a compelling body of evidence to make him change his mind - Jordie was only OK for the Canes at 12, he didn't really stand out. So the Jordie to 12 brigade will be waiting a long time for that to happen.

Sami also performs better with Lomax and DeGroot. Doesn't have to do their jobs as well.
May not be perfect but is what we need.On a different note I think Sami T has to be right up there in worlds best hooker contention. Was certainly better than Marx was last night.

Totally, Marx is a turn over machine, and great hooker. But samisoni just goes forward. Attack, defence, he goes forward no matter what. It's awesome to watch

Selections, tactics, coaching, mental strength, micro skills, etc are all at a level of quarter final exits that's what we'll get if we stick with this. Next game will be something very close to the same 23 - might be a couple of changes on the bench depending on what they might want different for the Australians - and Newell is still very green, wouldn't surprise me to see him make way - for someone, not sure who.
The three-times stat probably reflects partially how often people get injured in the pro-era, but also the luxury we've had to tinker and give people a run. But, this is a unique (for us) situation and not the time for tinkering. Keep building confidence, hopefully get to "won 3 of the last 4", lock up the Bledisloe, and then maybe there's a chance to make a change or two for Eden Park.
On the match - that was really good given the conditions. Certainly the best performance this year, one of the best of the past two.
Not sure we're quite in the box seat for TRC but we've got our noses in front and destiny in our own hands. Winning that would be quite good at this point!

Front row is out of my area of expertise, but they seem to have stumbled on something here ,
Do they play this front row all the way through to the wc now ?

@Chris PUJ if fit? I know he's been in the mix but I hope we see some more 12/13s in the squad. I wonder if Aidan Morgan maybe be bolter as well. We seem to collect 10/15 so having another specialist 10 to check out could be good.

Geez I hope not PUJ, I a Canes man, but hve yet to see the attraction of him. He is reasonably good super player at best I think anyway.
