I'm off to Alexandra Park tomorrow night - good night's racing, but should be another All Stars Stables benefit.

Were you there at Matamata yesterday>? I only dropped true-love off and picked her up from town later on as I had been crook for a few days.

Yeah houtzen drawn a shocker and has got the outside. Odds have drifted a bit as a result. Almost paying same now as From Within which has drawn much more favourably

Not sure if anyone was following Hokatika yesterday but horrible conditions. Heavy 11 rating but they reckon it was generous.
In an early race one of the jockeys powered 'home' and celebrated a lap early http://www.nzherald.co.nz/racing/news/article.cfm?c_id=53&objectid=11780896
But race 6 was the highlight for me. A mate tipped it so we all went a few $ each way and this 19-0-0-0 maiden runs it in from deadlast to a resounding win @ $61 and $9 . Turned $4 in to $140 for me. Thought it was a gonner! Some of the lads had $10 each way

Firdhaus got five weeks for incompetent riding for his shocker. If you watch the video on NZRacing, you can actually hear the crowd laughing as he salutes.

Ok @Hooroo whats the advice today?
Based on form and maps etc Solomon looks a decent chance in Race 4. At $4.40 / $2 is it worth the each way go? Is he fitter than last start at Taupo? I also see accepted so race 5 but assume 4 race 4 preferred?
Peaky first up but only 1200m and looks to have done well first up and this track and distance before. Drawn a wide gate but lucky 13 you say....

Can someone reset my damn password???
Can't beleive Percy is favourite. He is talented though.
Solomons is in great shape and the Taupo run has sharpened him up. There is apparently a horse that wins in the same race from Wexford stable but I watched the trial and it was good but I'm unsure if he is best in race.
Rain hasn't helped!
