Don't follow Bball all that much, but can someone confirm how the competition table works? Is the following correct, or is google playing with my head?
Looks like this is listed by least number of losses ... (edit: and then points diff ...)
I dont think that table is right.
It'll go off win % first (to equalise for teams playing different numbers of games)
Tiebreaks typically broken by points differential.

Why are teams with 3 or 4 wins behind teams with 2 wins? Or am I reading wrong?

Why ate teams with 3 or 4 wins behind teams with 2 wins? Or am I reading wrong?
4 out of 7 (and 3 out of 5) are both worse than 2 out of 3

So it's a percentage? Not actual points?

That first table I posted was still fucked up though huh?
I think ...
It was definitely fucked up!!!
Yeah. Having a look back, % of wins was correct, but they had points diff wrong, so can now see how they got to fucked up table.
Pleased I'm not going quite as crazy as I thought.

@booboo just to be clear it’s winning % as opposed points differential %.
The points differential % will really only come into play at the end of the season if there is a tie breaker for the same winning %. That’s different to the NBA where if two teams have the same winning % (win-loss record) then it’s who won the most games between the two teams during the season gets the higher position in the standings.

Pretty pleased with that Breakers win. Sheesh we played some ugly ball at times and how many layups did we miss?
But I thought our defence got better as the game went on. Nice to see us show a bit of calmness at the end too.

Taipans lost the game in the first quarter when they held the Breakers to one field goal, but did not score themselves. They should have been up by 20 at quarter time and the game was done.
Pardon was the difference IMO, he bodied Pinder, who has been our inside scoring option, out of the game, got his big mitts in the way to break up passes, and was basically a menace in the middle. He and Low made the Taipans shoot from deep, and they did so very very poorly.
It was such a low quality game, some of the shooting was just awful. i have never seen so many air ball 3s from both teams. Just shithouse. In the end Brown hit that ridiculous 3, and Djeric had his wiped off for an offensive foul, and that was the difference.
Taipans shot 34% and turned it over 14 times. There's your story right there.
Was a fun afternoon at the Convention Centre despite what was dished up, big crowd was loud, and the game was close. Road teams continue to dominate

Wow. Just wow. The defensive effort was huge. We scrambled, we contested and we hustled on the boards. Just loved how our offence was far more inside then out rather than just needless jacking.
We created inside and that gave us space.
Well coached and a team that is enjoying playing together.
Breakers 5-2 and second in the standings.
