Oh look at that, Mr. Bredin is top of the list. With a HB designation after his name and in the interests of neutrality he must therefore become unavailable to control games played by the Province he is affiliated to.
Is that true, or his that wishful thinking? Bredin no longer officiating Shield Snorters games would be excellent after his stuff-ups in our last two games against Taranaki. He was bloody awful, although his ARs and TMO weren't much better.

@Machpants said in NPC 2022:
Obviously I'm just being it on names, but Pro refs is very white compared to Pro players!
But if you take the adult population over the age of 40 in NZ, then rather more in line.
My school's rugby teams don't even reflect the number of non-White pro players. Appalling off in the case of the Under 55s.

Manawatu Turbos news from Club Rugby NZ
Manawatu media reporting yesterday that former Wellington College, Wellington U19s, Old Boys University and 2021 Hurricanes halfback Luke Campbell is joining the Manawatu Turbos this season for the NPC.
The same publication suggesting that former St Pat’s Silverstream and Norths and Tawa flyhalf Sam Clarke will be in the Turbos this year.

North Harbour have been very active in their recruiting.
Hooker Bryn Gordon which the club announced is lost to Manawatū after signing with North Harbour.

@Kiwiwomble it's alright because Sean Withy will be chomping at the bit for heaps of game time

@FakatavaAllBlack No, you're correct. He went back to Perth and was picked up by the Western Force. He signed an Academy contract. He played in one of the Force's preseason games IIRC. Doesn't mean he can't play NPC in NZ; several players do that after playing SR in Oz.
