Have any of the Moana Pasifika players that came from OZ and further afield committed to NPC teams. I wouldn't mind Counties signing Christian Lealiifano.

Although not offically confirmed, this article says that Perofeta has re-signed for Taranaki (and the Blues for 2023).

Sean Reidy heads home to Counties Manukau

There's a few names from last year missing at the end of that article though.

Slade? Although he may now be classed as a lock.
          Taulani? Did he go somewhere?
          Latu?

and of course Dalton and Hoskins (even if they wont play)

I am looking forward to seeing DMac putting on the Waikato jersey. I'll try to get to one of the preseason games if he is playing.

Interesting from Clubrugby.co.nz - Club Rugby understands Alex Fidow has signed with North Harbour for the NPC, with rumours of him joining the NRL just that – rumours – for now.

@Canes4life Was just reading that. So Wellington didn't want him anymore, either? I wonder whether that means they've signed Franks?

@Stargazer I hope so, otherwise we will have no props left.

Wellington still need an 8 so why didn't they give Fidow an opportunity there? I reckon he would have been pretty handy running off the back, especially at NPC level.

Waikato is going to be missing a few players from last year's squad due to season-ending injuries. Wrampling is obviously one of those.

With a HB designation after his name and in the interests of neutrality he must therefore become unavailable to control games played by the Province he is affiliated to.

Bredin no longer officiating Magpies games would be excellent after his stuff-ups in our last two games against Taranaki. He was bloody awful, although his ARs and TMO weren't much better.
