NPC 2022

Have any of the Moana Pasifika players that came from OZ and further afield committed to NPC teams. I wouldn't mind Counties signing Christian Lealiifano.
-
Although not offically confirmed, this article says that Perofeta has re-signed for Taranaki (and the Blues for 2023).
-
-
It had already been mentioned here, but now confirmed:
-
2022 Signings Alert
Karl Ruzich - Helensville
Siaosi Nginingini - Kumeu
James Fiebig - North Shore

I am looking forward to seeing DMac putting on the Waikato jersey. I'll try to get to one of the preseason games if he is playing.
-
Interesting from Clubrugby.co.nz - Club Rugby understands Alex Fidow has signed with North Harbour for the NPC, with rumours of him joining the NRL just that – rumours – for now.
-
@Canes4life Was just reading that. So Wellington didn't want him anymore, either? I wonder whether that means they've signed Franks?
-
@Stargazer I hope so, otherwise we will have no props left.
Wellington still need an 8 so why didn't they give Fidow an opportunity there? I reckon he would have been pretty handy running off the back, especially at NPC level.
-
Waikato is going to be missing a few players from last year's squad due to season-ending injuries. Wrampling is obviously one of those.
-
-
@Canes4life Do you not rate Keelan Whitman as a number 8? He went pretty well in the Npc last year for you guys

Nth Harbour obviously lacking in either talented No 8s, props or Talent ID personnel if they continue to plunder the likes of Murphy Taramai and Alex Fidow from Wellington.
-
Tevita Li played for Massey on the weekend - another signing for Harbour ?
-
-
-
@Higgins it’s On Wes Goosens Instagram it say Alex Fidow North Harbour 2022 -
-
@Tim harbour bringing back Li, Telea, Solomona ect. good on them!
-
just read that former Chiefs & Southland hero Robbie Robinson is returning to the Stags this season. Provided Lancaster park with 1 of it's last great moments on that unforgettable Thursday night in 09

Jacob Norris has signed with BOP
-
-
@Tim Harbour popping off posting their signings, must be nice.
-
@Yeetyaah I have been told that Waikato deliberately keep signings/squads quiet until the official announcement. The PUs obviously have very different media/PR strategies.
-
@Bovidae no communication from the Kremlin as usual
-
-
@Yeetyaah Waikato must have the worst social media persence/interaction with its fans of any PU in the country. Their lack of sharing anything relevent never ceases to amaze me. Its almost like they take pride in it. Old school arrogance aprings ot mind.
-
@OleOleOle Looking at the club team lists can give some idea of who is around. Some familiar names have reappeared in recent weeks while others are missing (injured). Hooker and midfield will be the positions that might be thin with injuries/AB commitments.

I'm not excusing them. As I said that is how the WRU roll.

Solomon Alaimalo has recommitted to southland , I only wish the best for the guy. If memory serves he also played a full part in last yrs stags season.

Oh look at that, Mr. Bredin is top of the list. With a HB designation after his name and in the interests of neutrality he must therefore become unavailable to control games played by the Province he is affiliated to.

Is that true, or his that wishful thinking? Bredin no longer officiating Magpies games would be excellent after his stuff-ups in our last two games against Taranaki. He was bloody awful, although his ARs and TMO weren't much better.
