Lawson not great. But Perez managed to get himself eliminated while in 5th.
RB race pace was slow all weekend. Tsunoda 13th, Lawson 14th (15 cars finished). The sprint was Lawson 16th, Tsunoda 17th. Not much either can do when the pace wasn’t there
Their cars are shit

Sayonara Perez. Not even 1 lap.

Lawson screwed by his team who didn’t tighten front left properly:(

He was in eighth place at the time. Sounds like he drove a good race

Lawson has done an ok job. Not bad, but not clearly superior to Tsunoda.
I think he needs a full season in RB to show his stuff properly. He doesn’t look like Red Bull quality. Yet.
Rumour mill of Bottas to Red Bull has quieted down, I thought that made a lot of sense. So who knows, fingers crossed for him.

Hadn't even heard that, only heard he's likely off to Mercedes.
Yeah that’s where it is now. A few weeks ago there was talk.
Be nice if he can stay in f1. Good driver to watch.

Gasny has been in great form but he’s ex red bull. Sainz would have been another choice. Hope Lawson gets it then we see what he can do in a proper car.

Eighth place not having pitted. He was heading for 10 to 14 but had to pit again to bolt tire properly.

It would be tough. Perez never seemed to come to grips with the car, it seems odd that they don't develop a more neutral car as a base. But opportunities like that don't come around very often. He'll grab it with both hands if offered

Breaking news: Liam Lawson turns down Red Bull. Says he wants a car that’s “easier to drive”. Multiple other constructors reported to be lining up to sign the prodigious Kiwi talent.

Godammit I traded in my 08 Toyota Auris too early.

Whilst it is always going to be tough in the same team as Max (he is really quite good), there is also the likelihood that Perez is a bit shit, so hopefully Liam would have his initial results compared more to Perez recent ones, than Max.
Obviously he would have to improve and adapt to the car, but Perez seemed to get worse not better, I'd back Liam to go the other way given his record of winning in new cars very quickly. They also stuck with Perez for 4 years with crap results which likely cost them at least a couple of constructors champs so you would think Liam will get a bit of slack to start.
