@Canes4life Christie is shit, so lucky for the canes that he's off. Was glad to be rid of him at the Chiefs. Good trade for TTT in the long run. Isn't Booth coming back? Maybe they'll pick him up again.

Look I know you're a Chiefs fan but it's a bit mean to wish Booth on the Canes.
@Chris I think I've written this in another thread once or twice but I don't think that BB is as far out in front of his competitors to risk a break from the ABs.

Is Booth really the answer? He has been around a number of Super Teams without actually making a mark yet.
If the question is: once put in a performance to rival Chris Eaton on McLean Park then yes Booth is the answer.

Yeah Would have to agree maybe age is catching up or burnt out a bit.

fresh smoke about BB going to Blues...?
-
@Darren I think this is very relevant, if he's away from NZ for a decent chunk, get's slower, how much value will he add when he gets back? He's not DC who we've seen his game change well before BB's age now (look at his tries scoring rate over his career). So is it worth the canes going all out to get him for possibly 2 seasons hence (2022+)? I dunno, he'll still add value with all his experience, esp at SR level, but enough that you give up on other players?

Iβm not too bothered on Beaudy going to the Blues if itβs two years down the track. He would have lost his pace by then. Iβd rather throw that money at an up and coming playmaker that is actually available for the next two years.

@antipodean Not surprised NRL will shut this down quick don't you think ?
Thereβs always one or two of these type of stories around Origin time.

I thought it was longer.
Citing process and Timelines:
β’ Teams have four hours post match to request in writing for the Citing Commissioner to review and incident of foul play.
β’ The SANZAR Citing Commissioners have 12 hours post match to review any incidents from the match via broadcast footage and or additional angles of an incident if available.

Aumua has got away with daylight robbery if he's not cited
He was head hunting in that tackle vs the Bulls
He would've likely been sent off if TMO or AR had spotted it real time
But then we know about the invisibility cloak ABs have around foul play

Mate, it's great to have you here on the Fern, but don't get lazy and slip into the mainstream media narrative. Aumua was stupid, adn could easily have copped a card on the day - but to suggest that refs and citing commissioners are somehow influenced by the poorest Tier 1 team is laughable.
Just look at Lions 2 and Lions 3 for examples of ref interpretation NOT favouring kiwis.
Good luck for the weekend anyway; and if you do get up, I'm really not sure a trip to Chc is winnable for you, especially if the Canes can demo your scrum. Crusaders are smart enough to exploit that to the hilt,a nd take the points, territory and possession that cancome with it
