Hurricanes vs Force

@cgrant maybe so, this team has plenty of room for improvement still though. I think how far we go in this comp really relies on getting selections right, i.e picking Savea at 7, not 8 and picking IWL instead of Blackwell etc.
Getting Love and possibly Perenara back will also up our performance.

The Force attack made the Canes defence look good. There were still some half-breaks but the scramble was better than the line D.
As Miotti knocked over the second penalty, I was thinking "yep great now a breakout try will be converted and you won't see the lead again".
In steps Aumua and a poor lineout throw.

You can see the huge potential of Jordy Barrett at test level but the stress levels in a really tight test match with 5 minutes to go where the next f#%k up is going to cost the game.....you just know what is going to happen......

Can't find it in the thread but did we ever resolve the Force player catching a kick with one foot in and one foot out of touch?
Jordie, who seems quite cogent on the inner workings of the laws was vociferous in his claims that an old law had been taken as current.
Now, ever since it was deemed acceptable to run onto the field from the carpark, or drop your hotdog you just bought from the kiosk, run down the stadium stairs and leap over the hoardings and touchline to swat an outbound kick back into the field of play, I don't know the touchline laws anymore.
So what's up with one foot in, one foot out law in 2021?
Another refereeing cock up to match the law makers touchline cock ups of the last decade?I'm totally flummoxed by how the fish heads have made an abortion out of the rudimentary concept of "field of play" in the professional era.🤬

@siam haven't seen a replay, and abviously don't know for sure, but at the time I thought Jordie was complaining the Force player grounded the foot over the touch line after catching the ball, meaning Force took the ball out of play.

@stargazer how commons is d.? Sounds a bit tricky to remember during play.

That loop de loop try is one of the more embarrassing things I have seen on a football field
