Wonderful Conway. Welcome to test cricket.

The Daily Mail have found some racist and sexist tweets by Ollie Robinson (from 9 years ago when he was 18) that the ECB won't be happy about:
did they set out to ruin the guys Test Debut or was that a bonus?
Hope no one digs up the shit i said and done when i was 18... -

Thank god cancel culture found something to moan about. How convenient it emerges right when he’s making his test debut.
Rip up his contract instantly.
@Virgil fucken aye, way to ruin what would be an otherwise immensely proud moment for him and his family. fluffybunnies. If we were famous sportspeople I’m sure all they’d need to do was find some of our dumber posts on here to be fair. We’d be doomed.

@mn5 Rather that than a good old fashioned NZ collapse to 225 all out after the three senior batsmen combined to make 50.
Nicholls saw us through what could (potentially) have been a shit storm of a second session and ably supported Conway. I am happy if he continues in the same vein in the morning and sees off the second new ball.

Like I said, I’m just going from the scoreboard and I’m sure you’re right but he needs to up the ante a bit as I’m sure he will tonight.

Nicholl's job is to stay around in support of Conway and be ready to take over the key scoring role while Watling gets settled. Let's just tag team along and take England out of the game.

Conway is absurd. Everything looks so easy for him
He is unflappable. Even when he took a few shots to the body from Wood he was not affected. I recall only one false shot in the first hour, a very thick edge that fell well short of the cordon and wide as well

Amazingly ( well, to me at least ) he’s the twelfth BC to get a ton on debut. That seems like an awful lot of players !
