i will miss Patty. And he was really the last link to when the Spurs were good (Pop aside obviously) so that's sad. But you go son, have fun.
That said, i am already hoping it goes wrong at both the Nets and the Lakers. fuck 'em

@mariner4life speaking of the Spurs
we're going to suck next season
but i am interested to watch Landale. He was too good for the NBL, and he has all sorts of attitude about him. Hope he goes well.

That'll be good for Mills. Live in NYC. Learn some stuff off Kyrie. Smoke pot with KD. Hit the clubs with Harden. Maybe get a ring.
Good times
A bit more lively than SA
Having been to both, you're under-selling SA.

I'll bow to your superior knowledge. I'd imagine at the very least the BBQ would be kick ass

Meanwhile the Suns have signed Javale McGee. We desperately needed more height and McGee's veteran presence has to be a good thing. Unsure what this means for Kaminsky and Saric. Unless I've missed something they're still on the roster, as is Crowder and of course Ayton. If we retain all five it's a very, very useful big man rotation.

The Riverwalk is awesome, albeit a tourist trap. The Pearl District is also super cool. Ate predominantly Tex-Mex in SA but then tucked into amazing BBQ in Austin. Bought a genuine Stetson cowboy hat in SA (mistake: had to then cart it around Texas, Mexico and several flights). Found a couple of great craft breweries and unique t shirt shops. The Esquire Tavern. Plus there's The Alamo. I'd definitely go back to SA.

San Antonio is a cool place to visit but bloody hot in the summer. That applies to all of Texas. The Alamo is a must see.
Don’t forget about dem big ol women

Anyone talking about how Rachel get her show cancelled? Hot Mike, said something un-pc apparently.
Apparently said someone got hired as a diversity hire. All a bit stupid really
Sounds like it wasn't even in that context, but you can't talk about that stuff anymore. And Maria Taylor, the subject of the comment, left to front NBC's olympics coverage after ESPN lowballed her in contract negotiations
-
Nichols said to LeBron James' longtime adviser Adam Mendelsohn and James' agent Rich Paul in the recording:
"If you need to give her more things to do because you are feeling pressure about your crappy longtime record on diversity — which, by the way, I know personally from the female side of it — like, go for it. "Just find it somewhere else. You are not going to find it from me or taking my thing away."
The few times I had seen Taylor on shows I thought she was good value.

Taking what thing away? Find what from you, Rachel?
Man, the Yanks' general prose leaves a lot to be desired. If they didn't speak in English you'd never think it was English. The amount of times I watch an interview in the major leagues sports world (or, dare I say it, on KUWTK) and the sentences are just a disconnected jumble, is ridiculous. You're left thinking "what the fuck did he or she just say??"

Fucken amen to this. I work in London for an American firm and the clarity is no better in the corporate world.

The Nets are busy accumulating veteran former All-stars. Paul Millsap signed a few days ago, and now...
After retiring with heart concerns five months ago, seven-time All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge is returning to the Brooklyn Nets on a one-year, $2.6 million deal, his agent, Jeff Schwartz of Excel Sports, told ESPN on Friday.
