Cyclists that ride on the road alongside a brand spanking new cycle path that is even flatter than the road should be fined

@nta as someone who doesn’t use Facebook and doesn’t sell stuff on gumtree I’m always entertained by my friends stories that are always the same as this.
They always seem to ignore no offers!
Third Contact wins. Turned up on time, paid the money, was happy with the phone.
Easy.

Sounds about right. I put on an ikea kids bed for free once - you know, help people out who need one but struggling.
Got so many questions on it - the state of it, kids stickers etc.
Drove me nuts. So I ended up putting a price on it and it was gone in a day.
It seems if you put free on it attracts only those looking to pick up and sell for ap profit.

Had an absolute blast trolling my BIL when he was selling his trampoline that his kids grew out of.
Questions like "approximately how many times do you think is has been jumped on?" and "how often do you have to move it to protect the lawn underneath?" cracked me up way more than they should have.

People who try to have a conversation, any sort, even a short question to you, when you are TAKING A SHIT.
It doesn't matter what it's about, it can wait. Leave me alone.
So this! the other day I sat on the toilet for my morning dump and my wife comes in tell me something. The dog follows the wife, and the two cats follow the dog. I'm trying to take a shit and I have an entire audience looking at me.
You don't fart enough. Add something noxious to your diet, works, as long as your wife has a good sense of smell...

We've had that. We used FreeCycle which is a place to list stuff to give away and get free stuff but it started to get abused by re-sell fluffybunnies.
Just give our stuff to the Hospice movement now. You know any money they make is going somewhere useful and they are smart enough sellers to get a good price. We even get emails from them telling us how much they made from what we gave them.

When you're having a dump and the cat somehow gets in and wanders over to you and sits in front of looking very interested.
Makes me fucking nervous and wrecks what should be a quiet few moment of reflection.

People who don't use the correct cadence (is that the right word?) when giving their mobile number annoy me. In Australia we have 10 digit numbers. You give it out with a cadence of 4, 3, 3. It ain't that hard!

There are rules on that?
I usually find that it depends on the number itself and any pattern or natural rhythm -
@crazy-horse this is interesting. Agreed you cant just give the 10 digits with no break but i give mine as 4, 2, 4 because i a have a couple of number double ups and that flows better

My missus spells out her last name against the natural rhythm and I chuckle to myself when I watch the confusion she causes. If she did it to me I would want to poke her in the eye.

Well, I hope you and @Nepia don't end up having to give me your mobile number. Give it to me like that and I will be finding a ticket to write you!
