warbrick continues his scoring effort.. hope they unleash him more in later games.
He's also good in the air which is very useful.

New Zealand don’t deserve to win shit with a bald, dreaded mullet like that on display.
Good God man, show some pride in your country.
That cut is a disgrace
Exactly. I don’t want munters like that in my team.

I wonder why the coaches went for this starting team and bench. Argentina is the strongest opponent in the pool. Wouldn't you field your strongest line-up? Or do they still think the Aussies are better than the Argies?
Rest and rotation?
-
@stargazer I'll take 28-14 though

May have started rough, but it all worked out in the end

35-14 in the end with Warbrick's try.

Oh. FUCK YEAH!

Risky leaving Tim on the bench. Glad they saw sense and put Warbrick in the 13. He looks very impressive and is our real weapon. Collier was huge v Argentina with his physicality. Add MGB and Timmy and we have some real strike power.
But do we have the depth under pressure? ENS Molia Ware Baker and Webber have all been a bit error prone so far. -

@bovidae said in 2020 -> 2021 Olympic Sevens (Tokyo):
Molia's defence has always been suspect when he goes high.
Laidlaw has gone for experience and utility value in his selections but they really lack some speed out wide if the veterans are playing. Making the SFs might be as good as it gets for the men.
Caleb Clarke is in MIQ....

I thought he was traveling reserve?

Yeah that's what I meant. Too much power and pace to be locked away....

@canefan but he didn't show near as much as Warbrick did in the trial matches. I think they have added the right guy.

Looks like they should have had both

@canefan well given the age of some of the players it's highly likely he'll be called upon yet.
What would it take? Tournament ending injury I assume?
