I hate that GSW can make the finals, then tank on the back of some injuries next year and get #2, when in all likelihood they'll make the finals again next year, even without the draft piece
I'd like to see lottery odds based on a rolling 3yr record. Tank for that you fuckers.
To be fair Steph and Klay were legitimately injured. Lose KD as well and they were poor. Fortuitous because after their long playoff and championship runs they could do with the rest

You LBJ fanbois really hate you some GS aye?
I actually really like GSW! Pre-KD version of course. Klay would be my fav player in the league, and I loved Curry when he was dominant. Iggy, Bogut, just a magic team. Draymond not so much, but I can see why his team mates love him.
Now KD has gone, I'm ready to go back.

Yeah but 1 season of injuries shouldn't propel you to the #2 pick sandwiched between 2 finals appearances

I don't hate on them because i thought they were an amazing team. Wonderful ball movement, and a bunch of unselfish players.
Green is a shit. But in a cartoon villian kinda way. As you say, if he's on your team...

Its damn lucky. But that is the system. It wasnt a Cleveland or Philly situation where they stayed shit for years and loaded up on picks

Lakers stung after their G1 loss responding with a big beat down of Portland (up 30, the entire Q4 is now garbage time). LA introduced Waiters and JR Smith, and with Rondo's return imminent looks like the vets will play a significant role. Most encouraging was AD looking dominant on both ends

Who is Boogie signed to?
Still waiting for some magical max contract that I don’t think is coming...
-
Warriors might deal their number 2 pick for a FA.
LaMelo’s game is more suited to the NBA than his brothers.

Talk of the pick and Wiggins being used to lure a star

Credit to him that he gambled on his ability when he could have stayed and got a bigger contract in SAC (IIRC they got rid of him in the end but only because he was so unhappy and disruptive). He will need to have at least a season injury free to get a decent contract now

He signed a big 4 year extension with the Kings but things went south and for both parties sake Sacramento traded him to the Pelicans (Buddy Heild and others). He knuckled down and began to play ball and was on around $17-18 m per season.
There was lots of noise that the Pelicans were going to offer him a $20+ m contract but then the injury and the rest is history.

I see OKC got a win in OT. It seems their fate rests with the performance of Schroder not CP3.
All 3 of their guards made some big shots down the stretch.
They did a better job at closing out on the Rockets 3 ball. Harden getting fouled out also helped.
-
@ACT-Crusader @Bovidae It was an appalling finish to regulation. 13 seconds to go for Houston and down 1, 4 players handled the ball for them, but not Harden, who stood at half court watching. House got fouled and made 1 to tie, giving OKC the last shot, which ended up being a CP 6 foot backwards flip over his head.
Shocking closing from both teams.
