Jeez, Robinson still getting minutes...I know he is a hard worker and fit as fuck, but first seaosn of Super rugby he is doing well (7 players over 300 mins - Akira, Nanai 400, Robinson 390, Faiane 370, Rieko 345, Parsons 342, Goodhue 329)
Only Akira and Nanai with more than him this year so far for the Blues.

@taniwharugby it will be interesting to see how Robinson and Blues handle this weekend - after coming off a win and a bit of hype around the team (and Robinson getting a fair bit of press) - will be interesting to see how they handle some expectation - hopefully they haven't spent the week reading their news clippings!

So far he's only had one below par game (Sharks)
Gibson is only getting through ~60mins since returning from injury. Because they need to sub him they have to keep Papalii on the bench.
Hopefully Gibson can be trusted with more minutes soon. Then we can start rotating the loosies more. We can't play Akira and Robinson into the ground -
Damian Willemse, Sergeal Petersen, Daniel du Plessis, Damian de Allende, Dillyn Lleyds, Jean-Luc du Plessis, Hercelle Jantjies; Jaco Coetzee, Peter-Steph du Toit, Siya Kolisi (capt), Chris van Zyl, Eben Etzebeth, Wilco Louw, Bongi Mbonambi, Steven Kitshoff
Reserves: Scarra Ntubeni, Corne Fourie, Frans Malherbe, Cobus Wiese, Jaunro Augustus, Justin Phillips, Josh Stander, SP Marias

Ioane, who has six tries in two matches but due for an All Black rest week, was always going to start after training during the week. With fellow wings Caleb Clarke and Matt Duffie returning from injury via the Blues' second team, Ioane could miss next weekend's visit of the Waratahs.

We can't play Akira and Robinson into the groundI actually haven't been as enamoured by him as others on here (ginga-ism maybe?), up until the most recent game I thought he was busy but not entirely effective - but against the Highlanders he was both. Hopefully he keeps it up.

Seems to have a fair bit of upside, and for a rookie he's going really we.
Really happy to see Scrafton on the bench. Still not sure who our preferred first five is; maybe this is an extended season long trial, but I've made my thoughts on selectors pickign someone clear before. Not going to be too much of a broken record.

@KiwiMurph Hmm would have rested him for this game tbh as the Waratahs pose a massive aerial threat and despite liking Telea's work so far this year, I'm not very confident about him under the high ball. Would much rather have Rieko and Duffie on the wings for next week to help counter Folau in the air
Oh, and I'm in Auckland for the weekend so can't wait to go along to this one :smiling_face_with_open_mouth: . Better get a win as I'm travelling far enough to watch it haha.
