@Dice wtf was he saying, it was hard to tell why he was going off - that the other guy beat him due to skill as Joshua is stronger or something? When he starts talking about character I got a bit lost ... probably a bit much to expect coherence after a boxing match and being gutted about losing I guess.

A bit classless from AJ afterwards, taking Usyk's moment away from him like that and Usyk didn't look impressed.
Nice to see AJ showing his true colours and finally breaking away from the stay humble act that he's faked throughout his career.

Toys, pram
But at least he showed some dog
Translate that to his boxing and he might regain some relevancy

he has had a very good run as the darling of the mainstream media in the UK for a long time,
And Fury was always painted as the bad guy ( although it has got a bit better )
imagine the reaction if Fury carried on like that ,
Its going to be a bit funny watching the AJ fans if Fury goes on to beat Usyk , it will be their worst nightmare,
and at what point does Eddie stop banging on about AJs resume ?

Fury says he'll take them both on on the same night
Probably would too.I wish we had the AJ/Fury fight just to put AJ in his box because he still doesn't understand why people beat him.

I’m still not convinced Usyk is the “generational great” that Joshua claims either.
Or maybe he is and it’s a reflection on this generation of heavyweights ( although in the last few years I’ve seen enough of Fury and that awkward style to make me think he’d trouble some of the best fighters in history at the very least )

Agreed
Usyk has done a Holyfield
Technically v good boxer, with speed, and a good chin
Difficult to hit and exposes the weaknesses of big hitters

Holyfield was an absolute warrior. I couldn’t help but hugely admire the career he had.

Definitely
As is Usyk

I think what makes usyk great is he has already dominated another division,
And then won a heavyweight title in only his third fight in that division,
Only 3 cruiserweights in history have gone up to win heavyweight titles for probably a reason ,
So that alone he deserves his place in history.

Yeah Hearn goes on about the pressure he's been under when he's the one that's caused it all. He's now trying to get everyone to fall for his sympathy act now.
And as for the resume talk, yeah, it's pathetic. It's a resume full of fringe contenders that were pushing 40 or even over (Molina, Breazeale, Martin, Parker, Takam, 41 year old Klitschko, 39 year old Povetkin.........wow!), yet Hearn has managed to con the public into thinking that he rolled the best in history in succession all away in the opponents backyard.
I can't even say with confidence that he beats Joe Joyce, let alone Wilder and Fury. I'd have him 4th/5th in the division atm.

@kiwiinmelb All away from home too, and the Cruiser division when he was there was stacked!
He truly is an ATG.
