Since when is a drop goal a sure thing? Especially with the way

DMac and Smith kicked zero.

Beaudem Barrett fucking sucks
And so do his deadshit brothers
Your boy ALB gave them a good run for stupidest player on the pitch. Butchering a try by ignoring A Smith on his outside, gifting SA a try with the dumbest intercept you'll see bar Jordies. So bad they subbed him instead of Crotty who was struggling for fitness.
Ah, it's good to have something to argue about again.

Let Dmac kick!
Why is it we amateurs could all see that?
Especially because he had positioned himself on the field for it. He was ready for it and waiting for the ball. When it didn't come, he gave up and moved forward and knocked the ball on ...

Just checking ,has anyone who isn’t a crusaders fan said Mounga would have won us the game ?
I don't think anyone (full stop) has said Mo'unga would have won us the game.
Yeah. Nah

I think Patty T may have played his last test in an AB jersey. He tends to lose the ball in contact too much. And as much as Ofa has improved, who else was nervous every time a scrum packed down in the 2nd half?
Not me, Ofa was huge out there. Franks is a big concern IMO, and was deservedly yanked after 45mins.
Patrick also had a good game, some big runs and good tight work. Dropped one ball.

Last year with the Poite/Garces deal I was so disappointed to not find out how Beauden would go kicking a clutch goal on an off night.
I'm as disappointed here, with them not setting for a drop goal. We need to find this stuff out.
If we go all the way to a final, history shows DGs win you 1 or a couple of those knockout games.
Whatever are we prepping for? The EOYT Barbarians fixture?
One dimensional kids.
DC's droppie against SA last RWC comes to mind...

This is one hell of a fucking game.
It is. Particularly for neutrals.
You're not neutral
You're for us, or you hate us
Nah - there’s a third option. I love/hate New Zealand. And South Africa. And France (well mainly hate). And Argentina top of the pile.
See? Very neutral. 😏

Meh.... they will learn a lesson there. We were way below par. I am not remotely concerned.
Not actually that impressed with SA.I am concerned but agree with your lack of imoression with SA. How many points did we gift them? Both with gift intercepts and missed conversions. SA were not that good. Did score a couple of nice tries but take 22 off the margin and NZ win by 20.
But we dum

Yeah mate , BB would have nailed a penalty right in front of the posts?

Patrick made two handling errors. He lost another one after he went to ground.
Ofa was fucking good though.

No, the ref called Whitelock for the second one, which was still wrong because he didn’t touch it.

Not just BB's goal kicking to blame. Lack of precision and communication in midfield and fullback and some poor execution of the basics.
DMac and Goodhue made a big impact - Goodhue has to start the next game. Thought Taylor was exceptional as was Read. Ioane looked rusty at the start but that was a great try.
If there was any over-confidence had crept in, it's been well and truly sorted...
Goodhue now our number 1 midfielder IMO

I haven't enjoyed an AB test that much since the Lions (gutted we lost). The tension was epic. The rugby wasn't always the best but the Boks put us in a position we're not comfortable with i.e. actually playing with the ball a lot and doing fuck all defending. The kind of game that the post 2007 McCaw teams would've closed out (generally) but you just don't have the confidence this team knows how to do it.
Thought both the Barretts in the backs were not up to par. Thought BB was OK in most of his general play but that goal kicking is unforgivable. Not sure what the answer is there. RM didn't look up to scratch last week, but it was his first test and there may have been quite a few nerves. Those nerves probably wouldn't have been settled in this game.
I reckon it was a real shame they didn't play ALB and JG again in the midfield. They looked potent last week and BB, Crotty & ALB combo just didn't gel.
