NBA season 2018/19

So the deal is Dennis Smith Jr. and two future first-round picks, and a couple of expiring contracts (one is DeAndre Jordan). Those two first rounders will be worth jack shit now Dallas has catapulted itself out of lottery consideration for the forseeable future
-
And with the first pick in the 2019 NBA draft, the New York Knicks select Zion Williamson from Duke University.

Well he’s a big unit 😀
No doubt the Knicks will probably get pick 2 in the lottery and not pick any of the Duke two....

Unless Phoenix gets the pick (I have no idea who is winning the tanking race) I don't see how you pass on Zion. Even then I'd probably take him anyway
-
the Knicks are the shittest team already. So they are winning the race to the bottom.
-
@mariner4life under new rules for the 2019 NBA Draft, the 3 worst teams will each have a 14% chance of the number 1 pick.
-
@KiwiMurph so Knicks, Cavs, Bulls, and Suns all in teh 10-12 win bracket are in the "race"
Bucks cement top spot in the East by beating the Raptors
Sixers v Warriors on now.

They've done it before....

Well my desperate search for a second team and alternate jersey (I'm a Suns fan, so duh) continues and doesn't get any clearer. I've been to NYC and NOLA and had time for KP and the Brow but am pleased I didn't grab a City Edition jersey with either player's name on it when looking recently! KP in Dallas has some attraction but only if I get to a game there in October so there's another strand of connection other than likeable players, ok jersey. Sigh. Guess I'll just keep wearing the 'grape' Booker jersey or retro KJ one in the meantime.

@mariner4life Kawhai and who?
My fiance bought me a Spurs tee recently, given we're going to Texas in October and we don't know yet what game(s) we'll get to. I used to like the Spurs back in the days of the Admiral but just don't know if I can wholeheartedly get behind a team with an Aussie on it.

@mariner4life whoa I didn't even know he was still in the league!
-
Yep Charlotte. 18-odd years in the NBA.

Things are getting weird. Now Kyrie Irving is opening the door on leaving Boston. AD's dad says he doesn't trust Boston after how they handled Isiah Thomas. He doesn't speak for AD but that's a lot of negative energy surrounding the Celtics right now. Of course it might flip on its head in the next 24 hours

@shark You'll love it! Went to their stadium for an Ariana Grande concert because of the missus haha but managed to get to see the Rockets who I follow when I was in Texas. San Antonio is beautiful too!
Houston or SA?
