The ABs always seem to take extremely long for the thrown ins, anyone know why?
Most of them are fast, perhaps Harris missed the first call.
It seems pretty noisy there. The hookers don't always seem to hear the call. I saw Read repeat the call a few times in the direction of A Smith, who then repeated it to Taylor.

We should have lost that game, we were fucking terrible.
Lucky the Scots dropped so much prime attacking ball.
Scots offered very little on attack until the last 5 minutes. They kept the ball well but there was hardly any variation in their attack. It was a good effort from them. We played the better rugby in that we defended incredibly and looked way more dangerous when we kept the ball. The problem was our game management. We don't know how to shut a game down. The non-throw by Harris, the break by Squire, the YC by Crockett - there weren't a lot of smarts out there on display.

Cane back on. Hames doing well for somebody who can’t scrum. Squire can’t find support after nice run.
You mean he was a ball hog and forgot to pass to Lima? If he couldn't find the support, he needs better lenses.

That last try was a splendid effort by Scotland, the sort of thing you have the young fellas sit down and study and understand why it came off - running wide with confidence, players backing up all over the place, a most excellent short range grubber kick (one of the most under-valued, under-used but efective tools in the modern game) made with thought and purpose and it lifted them fabulously well. Good stuff!

If you are going to box kick so much - why not pick Duffie on the wing over Naholo.
Naholo is quite good at chasing them. Plus you can get Naholo into a situation where he can get a turnover.

@stargazer Watching it head on showed there were white jumpers closest to him on each quarter behind him, between him and his support. If the pass is not on you die with the ball and go again, don't you?
