All Blacks v BI Lions Test #2

Naholo was very confident under the high ball in the Highlanders-Lions game but that was under the roof.
With rain forecast and the typical Wellington wind the conditions will be quite different.
A predictable team given the injuries.
The risk involved for them kicking to naholo is when he catches it and starts swatting off defenders

Happy with the team Pleased Laumape has been rewarded for his efforts not only on Tuesday v the Lions - but throughout the season.
Like the balance in the back 3. Also pleased Shag and co haven't erred from their strategy nor bowed to local pressure to include the Bus for the Caketin test. Time for a hungrier work ethic (no pun intended). -

Really hope Naholo takes his chance, I'd like to see him have an extended run in the black jersey - he has so much upside and could become a prolific try scorer. He and Rieko in combination are the stuff wet dreams are made of.

So, in case anyone needed any further evidence, the Warriors really are a clusterfuck. Does anyone leave them and not become instantly better?
Anyway, surprised to see Laumape there, I incorrectly assumed he was a squad member to get him used to the environment.

The typical Wellington wind hasn't been in Wellington for about a week now; there hasn't been much wind at all. Disgusting timing from the weather gods to let it return with gale force on Saturday night (according to the forecast anyway).

The selection of Naholo tells you everything you need to know about how much of a threat Hansen rates the Lions kick chase.
Hint: Not every.
I like the selection, very aggressive - in a strange way we almost should improve in the kicking game as Dagg's big boot comes into play.
Only disappointment is the lack of Sopoaga as Cruden clearly has checked out.

Sheesh, you're spouting bollocks about 10s all over the Fern today. I think you should re-watch that second half again and see how much play Cruden was involved in - hardly someone who has checked out.

@Nepia has alerts set up for any time the names "Kaino" or "Cruden" are mentioned on the Fern...
Cruden threw an awesome cutout ball to put Rieko away for his first try (pretty sure it was Cruds). He has fantastic vision and is an expert of playing what's in front of him when opportunities present themselves, which makes him dangerous in the 2nd 40 when the game opens up a bit. I think he's a better bench option then Sopoaga.

I also have "fat" and "Savea" plus "Masaga " and "pass" - which have obviously never gone off at the same time.

Hint: Not every. If only we had a game where Naholo could have demonstrated before a Test match how well he'd do against the Lions.

@Tim find it odd we name ours so early in the morning, yet he names his in the afternoon while the UK & NI sleep...
Probably deliberate. Gives him some peace before the NH loses its collective mind.
