Black Caps v Pakistan

Hmmm... whenever i turn on the telly we have either just git a wicket or we get one within two deliveries. Well it's happened last three times.
This time booboo strikes first ball. Boulter grabs Misbah on the boundary off Timmah.
Then Boulter gets another.
Like this game... so far ...

@ACT-Crusader nope, wasn't watching. Was following on cricinfo this morning while at work. Too bloody busy actually working after work to follow the cricket.
They may have bowled to a plan, but without watching I believe we batted pretty fucking poorly as well.I see we've bowled well again though, and all going to plan in the morning, we'll be chasing no more than 150 to win, which is no walk in the park.
Game on.

I'd say esaier than that. It's a Day 3 pitch effectively - shouldn't be destroying itself yet. 150 should be a walk, 200 getting tough, and let's not talk about our batting collapses again oh god why do we keep doing this to each other
OK, that off my chest, IF we don't collapse, we should still be red hot favourites to win this. Leading by 62 with only 3 wickets left - hard to see a 150 lead at that point unless we bowl really badly.

We are the Black Caps, total collapse is infinitely possible

All out an hour into the morning session.
We need 105 to win.
I really would love to see the openers dig in and see us home here.
Not a chance, they'll fold early and Amir with tear us apart with an 8-for.

I would like us to win the game without loss for a change, but I wouldn't be surprised if we limp home to victory

Double figures without loss. Astounding.
It won't last. Plenty of time for our collapse.
It begins. That wicket is on @canefan.

Surely it must be on Booboo!!!

That's a very pleasing start to the summer of cricket. Much better than our friends across the ditch (just to take a cheap dig at them while they're down).
Raval took his chance and now has a test average of 91 which is not too shabby. He's on track to be talked about in the hushed tones that people speak of Bradman...
Good to see Kane get some time in the middle to kick start his summer, looking for him to pile it on and keep that average climbing.
Southee did enough to keep his spot, though I personally would still prefer Henry but no doubt Hess and co will stick with him on the back of a few wickets. He did improve as the game wore on so hopefully he takes some confidence out of that.
CDGH the story of the match, 6-for and a handy 30 odd means he keeps his place in the team. If he can chip in with a few wickets and some handy 40s and 50s then he'll add some value to the side. Reasonably big if still though, but well played on his debut, he can be very proud.
I am a happy chalpy today - All Blacks, Wallabies (keeps the wife happy) and the Black Caps get the job done. Good times.
