@MiketheSnow Dmac isn't in the ABs. He'll join the Baabaas this week.
With Foster obviously not trusting Perofeta, if Mo gets injured I'd be far more confident with DMac going to 10 than BB
You pick your best 23
End of
You tune changer you!
Definitely
Coming in to the Summer internationals I tipped BB to return to his best
At 10
He didn't and he hasn't
But with JB going to 12 and Jordan injured then BB is the best 15 available
is Zarn Sullivan injured?

Ofa/Sami/Lomax/BBBR/Big Sam/Paps/Scooter/RD/Nugget/Richie/Jordie/Ioane (R)/CC/Telea/BB
Bench is where it gets interesting...
Taylor, Bower, Newell, Vaa'i, Frizell, Perenara, DMac, ALB
I'd say Codie/Newell/Vaa'i/TJP/ALB are givens.
De Groot/Bower tricky because latter very good Sunday.
Frizell/Akira is perennial Fern chewing bone.
Part of me would like to see Reece on bench, but injury considerations come into play. -
Given how well Telea played maybe there is another decent wing out there?
We still lack a spare 13 behind Ioane if ALB no longer suits there.
From what I saw of the AB XV Big Leicester would at least add a bit of oomph. -

You've gone quiet on Nepo fella

I'm sure he has workons, distribution or turning speed/agility, positioning, perhaps. But if they are not going to play Tana's fave Hurricanes nephew, I don't know who could do it (nb I thought Nankivell played well from what I saw yesterday but I guess he is more a 12 than a 13).
-
@nostrildamus Oh I was thinking of the wing to replace Clarke, no idea why after reading your post again.
-
@nostrildamus said in All Blacks Vs England:
@Bones well if we follow the question you pretended I posed then yes I guess big Leicester is a power winger in a similar mode to Clarke. Not sure if he shores up that wing defensively though.
How did Bridge go for the Baabaas?

Nothing flash
That would be a Bridge too far

You get a pity vote.

Didn't know they had time for cards before the game.
Oh the player not known as DuPont...
From what I saw, safe enough, slow enough. Made one run straight into tacklers.
Otherwise quiet. -

If they select S Barrett at 6 there will be two loose forwards on the bench. Likely Ioane and Frizell, but I wonder if Harmon gets a chance.

Can be disruptive when he gets going though, a spanner in the works.

With Whitelock and Scooter you basically have 80 minute players. Scooter is a starter. He’s only come off the bench twice in the last two years and they were both last season and one of those was against the Argies when we started Patty T and Vaa’i.
Barrett has been replaced 4 times this year in the 74th, 72nd, 70th and 71st minute. They are not going to use Brodie for those sort of token minutes.
I’d be starting all three of them and that way you have options with two loosies off the bench - Ioane or Frizzel and one of Harmon or Hoskins.
Ardie is an 80 minute player too, but they have selected Hoskins on the bench when Ardie has been in the side. It’s just that he hasn’t replaced Ardie.

picking the team are we? I am not expecting major changes and some people in positions we have seen before.. I am picking DH to miss out this week though. There is much love for Caleb in the selectors and although we have seen weaknesses they do appear to be persisting through it.
