Shut up Marshall. Taylor has not missed a beat. Are you crazy?
He missed a beat or two, but actually played pretty well.
Obviously Ryan's selection choice then. That muppet Foster would have picked that useless Sami T....

@Old-Samurai-Jack Calm down princess i was having a laugh, every teams fans are as bad as each other lol so just settle down.

Finally, almost a complete performance. Complete dominance of the Wallabies.
Wallabies will be very unhappy, nothing went right, discipline, poor skills, just wilted under the AB pressure.
Jordie was excellent at 12, great impersonation of Ngani Laumape running over players while kicking and distributing really well. Mo’unga in his post-match interview said he was giving him some great guidance on plays etc. Foster will probably put him on the wing now.
Puzzling that RTS only got 10mins?
Codie Taylor again struggled with his line out
throwing. He was average in an outstanding team. Leave him at home for the EOYT and take Aumua. Foster will probably make him Capt. -

The fact Foster bluntly said about three weeks ago that he saw Barrett as a fullback when questioned on Jordie moving into 12 suggests that he’s never really seen him as a midfielder. I call bullshit on the fact he’s had any sort of plan moving Jordie to 12, it’s more sheer luck for us fans that the two players he preferred in that position got injured and it forced his hand.
Who has claimed a plan?
Like some other players that have taken chances, that chance only came by luck.
I never saw JB play like that at 12 until tonight and I am glad he did so.
Just because some have been wanting him to get that chance doesn’t mean that they are smarter than the selectors.
Don’t forget that last week there was no hesitation putting him in there after the injuries when they could just as easily gone for a RM/BB combo and that they backed him based on that performance even though it didn’t set the world on fire. You've obviously not watched the canes this year, in a dysfunctional team, jordie was great at 12

Did the Aussies make meters up fat man's ally? Did they destroy our maul? Did they gain the advantage on the blindside? All nopes? I think Akira had a great game.
Stuff has a different view
Akira Ioane: Didn’t do much to solve any No 6 questions. Aside from a ripped ball near his own line, nothing much to catch the eye apart from showing his skills with a deft left-foot kick and speedy chase. Replaced in the 70th minute. 5.5

I think the truth about Akira is somewhere in the middle

What? No hesitation putting Jordie at 12 (after 2 x 12s got injured during the game) - the guy who played age grade 12 and npc 12 and this year super rugby 12 - as opposed to BB at 12? Has BB ever played 12?

I bet Foster will happily take all the credit for Jordie’s performance at 12 tonight.
They were working on it behind the scenes
Yeah right

@Toddy I know JB was on fire tonight at 12 but I was gagging for RTS to get a solid 20+ minutes. Even during a dominant game I feel like we roll subs too early or too late, unless injury or a card plays a role.
Foster and co clearly have their 1st and 2nd choice 12's and because of the injuries it made sense to give Jordie as much time as possible.
I'd expect RTS aka The Karate Kid to get some game time on the EOYT.

Nah. Foster can't credit for anything. He only figures when things go wrong... 😎

Merhtens blaming Dalton. Suggests he should've been carded.
Well Dalton wouldn't have landed on his neck unless Dalton landed on his neck...

Just a poor take.
He defended well, used his bulk to move bodies, this fabled thing about him not using his shoulder is simply untrue. Several examples in this game alone.
Played tight like many have been asked him to show he can and did it well. Was throwing players back in gang tackles like a beast. Was fun to watch.
He’s particularly strong in the maul too.
One opportunity out wide and showed good skill to earn the team a 5m scrum. Rest of the time he did what he said he’d do the press conference, the dirty work so Ardie could run out on the wing.
