A lot of the NZ U19 squad were selected for the NZ Schools/Barbarians squads last year. Of course, they never played a game.
Our SA posters say that the Stormers team should be the strongest opposition, so a big game first up. I haven't seen a NZ team announcement yet.

Is it typical that NPC takes precedence over this? I know what I'd rather do as a 19yr old!

Just remembered there's a provision about precedence in the Competitions Regulations Handbook. It looks like this hasn't been updated for a while, because it still names the Junior AB's as our "next senior national representative team" and not the All Blacks XV, but I assume the rest hasn't changed. It also doesn't mention the NZ U19, of course, but I guess it's the same rank as the NZ U20 team.
