NRL 2022

@mariner4life watched a replay and the Storm don’t just get the rub of the green, they get the whole green forrest. They do play at a great pace though.
-
Two positives about the game against the Panthers:
-
We didn't get beat by 80.
-
We scored a try.
ha ha, havent seen any sport for 10 days due to travel, but just seeing scoreline, I would agree with that.
and a further positive is we play the other cripple in the league the West Tigers next, who got beat by a similar score..by the Bulldogs lol
-
-
hey, look, Matt Lodge is going to play for the Roosters for the rest of the year
for $100k
why so cheap you ask? well, the Warriors are still picking up the tab
What a lovely and generous club we are
-
also, hilariously, coaches don't want a bar of either the Warriors or the Tigers. Because we are both complete dumpster fires from the top down.
-
@mariner4life to be honest this was a great pick up for anyone and the most stupid mistake from the warriors owner..Roosters were in danger of even missing the eight surprisingly, with him up front I doubt this happens at all
-
@mariner4life this one doesn't surprise me at all looking at what the current owners are doing at both clubs, ciraldo, flanagan, woolf all said no fking way, you reap what you sow I guess.

absolutely. Germ of a bloke, but an effective metre eater through the middle. And can make momentum stopping hits. I am surprised it took any club this long to pick him up, especially for $100k
Warriors with another awful decision among an enormous number of bad decisions.

Woolf is going to be an assistant at the Dolphins with an eye to getting that when Wayne dies.
Ciraldo staying at the Panthers.
The fuck is Flanagan waiting for? There's Green floating around as well.
Coaches are starting to make smarter decisions. They know they can't turn around fucked up clubs by themselves so why destroy your career by trying?
Also a guy like Trent Barrett has to be a warning, and Steve Kearney. Good assistants who are terrible head coaches. -

-
Melbourne are learning that even Craig Bellamy can't turn a roster full of complete spuds in to premiers.
This team is very unbalanced and are fucked when Munster doesn't play.
With a few leaving they might finally be fucking dead.
-
Oh look cheese did something for the first time in weeks
-
and then Papz woke up..if you didn't see the last 5 minutes you would not have believed final score

28-6 to Manly after 53 minutes and then the game very much changed.
-
just how many points have Manly conceded in their last 5 mins of their last 2 games?
It's like the get to 75 minutes and clock out "sorted the 2 points for ya Des"
This doesn't change the fact that i don't think Melbourne can win unless all of Grant, Munster, Hughes and Papz play out of their skin in September.

true, I will give them the benefit of the doubt in that game though, they were the only team that had almost 75% of their normal starting lineup in rep round and papz's first game back. That spine is insanely good when on song

Is that any different than any of the other clubs tho?
Remove, Cleary ,Edwards, Yeo & Koroisau from the Panthers and let's see how they go?!!

i didn't say take them out, i said they all need to be 100% on to win it, as they are surrounded by spuds.
Penrith have strike players everywhere that can hurt you. Melbourne have an incredible spine driving role players around the park. And with a few injuries, some are even back-up role players.
They will still finish at least top 3, but they are a step down on the Panthers, and i think the Cowboys would fancy themselves in a final, just on spread of talent.
