@rancid-schnitzel putting aside the fact I'm a desperate 44yo married man: I can objectively say there is not a single one of them I'd knock back.
They're all early 20s, fit as fuck (remembering this is 7s), fair-to-gorgeous, and unburdened by the fucking bullshit that middle aged women carry around with them.
The last point is probably the most important when it comes to attractiveness.

The 7s factor would make a difference for sure. I must say, you paint a pretty attractive picture and I understand why you make time in your busy schedule to share your expertise. Have you ever even played 7s before?

@rancid-schnitzel a couple of corporate days š¬
The true shame of this injury is my lack of ability to contribute to the refereeing of a women's tournament this Sunday.
It is the highlight of my month.
They don't fucking back chat like the blokes and for the most part take on board what you say.

Are you certain that they are women?
Yes. Women playing rugby have seen the light and do not need to be classified with other women. They do stuff, they listen to stuff. Even from men (if they know what they are talking about). It's excellent.

Yes. But as I stated above: they're not middle aged women who think they know it all. For 14 minutes at least, they respect authority as they learn the game

Fuck sakes I've been in the top paddock while this lockdown malarkey has been going on.
Stepped on the scales at 108kg. I was aware of the weight gain due to increased drinking and eating with lower activity in winter, but this is fucked.
The last few weeks I've been stepping up the physical side of things - have walked 32km so far this month at a good clip, and run another 3km at a fairly average pace for a funt.
So I'm back to watching the portion sizes, sugar, and other crap. Drinking will be present, but limited. Chest/waist/hips are poor reading at 117/115/116cm respectively, and those numbers are more important than the scales.
Want to train up and lose a bit of pork in order to go hiking once lockdown ends tho, so this month is key for setting the scene. Aim for about half a keg per week until the end of november, in addition to the first couple of kg falling off as they usually do.

What is your "normal"? 95-100??

That's a good question. What I'd like to be is around 95kg. Pants fit better, but on the flipside it makes my enormous bonce look even bigger!
I'd be lying if I said "normal" was much different to now, TBH. As someone around the 178cm mark, most of my adult life I've been well above 100 - around the time of my wedding, closer to 130.
When I got on the weight loss train - which was a decade ago - I started at 116kg and over 2 years got down to 89.9kg at my peak. Most of that happened in Year 1:
Year 2 was about pushing it a bit further in terms of events and things, but as you can see, getting lower than about 93kg was a struggle:

@Hooroo here are the measurements that matter, tho:
AUG 2011 - Waist 123cm, Hips 119cm
AUG 2012 - Waist 103cm, Hips 106cm
AUG 2013 - Waist 98cm, Hips 102cmTotal of 25cm off the waist and 17 off the hips. I still have the suit pants I bought at that time and I remember Mrs TA being quite impressed when I tried them on...
I wasn't recording chest in the first year (more about arms and legs) but something similar would have occurred to get it down to 114cm by September 2012, and then 107cm by Aug 2013.
-
Today was body weight morning - 30s break between exercises:
Chinups x 3 (or nearest offer)
Squats x 10
Pushups x 10 - this is tough as I fucked my shoulder earlier in the season and it is tight from sitting at the desk all day.
Lunges x 10 each leg
Rows x 10 - I use one of those suspension trainers hooked to the chinup bar
2 minute rest, start again.Finished 3 sets (mostly) then 10 burpees. Gasping.
This afternoon did 5km in 48:21 - that's 40km for the month so far. Aiming for at least 100 and on track for more than that.

Iāve had at least a beer or two every night of lockdown but the key is physical activity and not overdoing other ātreatsā. Iām at 96kg, down from about 99kg and I reckon a lot of that is due to upping the āfunctionalā fitness.

I'm a sugar bandit - can't stop at one piece of chocolate. The wife keeps buying the fucking stuff, then gives me "well you don't need to eat it".
And if I leave it in the cupboard for 2 weeks and finally crack, you can bet your boots within the hour of the last crumb disappearing, she'll exclaim "WHERE'S THE CHOCOLATE?!""

Thatās the issue right there. For all my other faults I can leave desert well alone, chocolate, cakes, biscuits etcā¦ā¦Iāll happily ignore it. Strangely enough though Iāll buy the kids lollies ( x 4, not like I can buy for my boys and not their little siblings, that would make me a real fluffybunny ) and insist on big handfuls for myself.
But yeah, potential future mrs MN5 has given up offering me Choccy while weāre watching TV.

see I can have treats in the pantry, and grab when I want (after 8s for Fathers day on Sunday, still sitting up the top shelf of the pantry) problem is, bloody kids nag and ask for it all the time, I eventually eat it so I can say they all gone so piss off haha
I dont drink alcohol at all Mon-Thurs.

I always have a bag of lollies in my car that I continually munch on when coming home from work or after a ride etc. Struggle to not pick up a bag or two when I'm at the shops. My kids know too so are always looking to go out places with me. Also useful for the kids to pre-load on the way to sport.
