Wrong on so many levels.
Notwithstanding that it might not quite fit in with the occasion. Can they actually dance even? Awful uniforms inviting fat shaming. Blind choreographer.
-
@catogrande I agree - it wasn't an overly flash performance was it!

Absolutely cringeworthy, and hilarious because of it.
Some of the looks on the faces of the audience are classic WTAF?

im still waiting for it to come out as a big joke of some sort, they finally realise no one actually booked them or something

It is the sort of thing that I would organise for my last day at work.
"Let's see what they make of this? I'll get a bunch of girls from down at the pub to take the piss in front of a ship. What are they going to do? Fire me? I'm gone tomorrow."It really should be someone's last day as @Machpants says (demotion is too kind). The career in event planning has likely evaporated. I can't stop laughing at it though so maybe not...

You’re not even allowed to have Pit Girls at the GP anymore yet somehow this was allowed to happen. As mentioned, they’re also really shit.
We haven’t heard the last of this one. No doubt Scott Morrison will somehow be blamed.

Fair enough, all that skin will only encourage Neanderthals to perve at women and treat them like objects. It also might offend other cultures and we can’t have that.

From what I've heard as part of Aboriginal engagement a local dance troupe were engaged to follow on from a didgeridoo performance. Not quite what they were expecting.
But I acknowledge the ABC leading the bodyshaming of women.

Oh, look, I was astonished and a palled just like you - all that objectifying wymminses behaviour caused by Prime Minister Scott Morrison, quite properly raised by a righteous Albosleazy who was caught in a rub 'n tug in Marrickville 7 or 8 years ago, and his senior colleague Tanyer Blubbersack, whose husband was gaoled for years for drug dealing.
Apart from that the little tops, tight shorts, tits and bums were a delightful distraction, I say! I don't share your view on the choreography, which I didn't really notice. I doubt they were seeking to compete with the high quality effort offered by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion at that US BLM awards night a couple of weeks ago.

as far as word salads go, i think you've used too many ingredients. less is more. 4/10
the video in the OP is fucking hilarious. Seriously it looks like one of those shit prank shows. If you were there you would be on the lookout for the hidden cameras.
It's really tedious how dumb shit can't be laughed at as dumb shit, rather than always looking for a more serious angle so we can blame someone, and hold it up as an example of some more significant issue.

You marked my English expression for free.
Catogrande commenced with "Wrong on so many levels." in his assessment of an amusing video of no consequence, before I read any further I thought his review was worth a jolly good mocking, ridicule and sarcasm but my two - two - paragraphs were more than you could bear, or accurately comprehend. And you have been applauded for that!?!?
I could say more but I fear my allocation has been exhaus ....
-
Mate, you have seriously not got my gist at all. 😳

So it turns out the reporting was a hit piece by the ABC. The edit of the footage they showed was deliberately duplicitous to imply that dignitaries such as the Governor-General and Chief of Navy were present during the performance when they weren't.
Just another reason I support the call for the ABC to be defunded.

@antipodean I was wondering why the tweet had disappeared when I went to show it to someone.
