@booboo the article you posted focussing on a uniform clash that has no effect on the sport or how the game is played. Dumb. If you need cricket teams in different uniforms to experience a game, you're dumb.
Can't say I agree.
Why have colours at all then? Just play in whites?
Whilst it has no effect on the play it adds to the spectacle. Pretty damn dumb to have two teams turn out in exactly the same colours.
Test cricket must be terribly confusing for you...

@booboo Pink is where it's at, and I assume it started with McGrath. ND have been wearing that colour shirt for over a decade.
Pink = breast cancer
I saw a Gruen Tranfer episode (do you get that in NZ? It's a show by and about advertising execs discussing the tricks of the trade) a few years ago about the pink branding, and just how powerful a brand it is,, and how jealously it's guarded, and how much money it makes specifically for breast cancer (no other cancers, just breast cancer). So should have realised it's significance. Dumb.

This is the type of thing that starts bar fights.

Oh stop your posturing nonsense. If you want to talk about sports marketing then fill your boots.
The fact is that the game of cricket is not hampered by uniform colour and your bleating about what effects you doesn't necessitate anything. You're the one arguing irrelevant minutae. -

Pink = breast cancer
As I said, the use of pink started in cricket with the McGrath Foundation in 2002.
In 2009, the Northern Districts Cricket Association announced plans to put its T20 team into pink shirts as a breast cancer awareness attention-grabber.

You ok? Bad day? Looking for an argument where there isn't one?
I would request you haul in the personal abuse (hence my obliquely 'humorous' reference to the pub rule), and refrain from making up stuff people say.

@booboo 1 sentence to you to inform about pink game, then a slightly inflammatory sentence about the dumb people in the article you posted, you know the one where the ICC has not commented about similar uniforms, despite a ridiculous criticism of uniform manufacturers. Even put a smiley face in there for context.
Emojis portray humour, or you can bang a dumb drum then double down by inferring violence for pointing out that most cricket in the world has always been played in white.
Led Zep 2, communication breakdown, all because a reader can't see that you are being obliquely humorous.
I don't know what to make of this sentence: "Pretty damn dumb to have two teams turn out in exactly the same colours."🤔
But carry on with the lecture and your "request"😀

have a geez at this cheating prick

@mariner4life Is he bowling or biffing a return from the field into the keeper?

fucked up action isn't it? I am pretty sure he'll be getting the "no more son" letter about those deliveries

eh, as long as he doesn't straighten, I think he's OK. They tolerated Malinga remember ... just won't get much bounce

below the horizontal is an underarm, that's his issue. Malinga was a bit higher than that.

Murali chucked his way to 800 test wickets. I don’t see anything wrong with this action but I doubt it’s effectiveness. As long as the arm is straight I think it’s fine.
he got your boyfriend out with it last night apparently

Is Chris Gayle still playing ? ( sigh )

@catogrande well yeah but....
He is now banned from all cricket activities and would be free to resume his involvement again on March 28, 2029.
