@shark the bledis will happen, 100%. Just the money from those four tests makes it worthwhile, compared to the money sink of the M10 . It is a loss making competition for NZR, sky going to all those matches is offset by them also getting the ABs tests, that's why NZR only offer it as a whole package.
Yes yes yes, I'm fully aware of the ugly economics. But the heart wants what the heart wants.
Sounds like a visit to the knock shop.

Not sure they will call up two extra locks, plus Robinson.
If Foster sticks to his guns about playing people in specialized positions, it seems more likely to me that they'll call up a loosehead prop.
I don't believe so, the props are all specialists. I believe they will call up another lock/6. We need more height in the lineouts. We also have injured Hookers. Dixon maybe?

I think they will select TTT again, as the AB coaches have talked about him being the closest to Smith in skillset.
TTT has done what exactly? Call up Bryn Hall or even Drummond, Finn Christie would have got a call if it wasn't for the appendicitis.

Yeah - but, the extra 11 players are basically injury cover, because if someone gets hurt you can't get a replacement for two weeks.
With three specialist loosehead props - if one gets injured, you've got two weeks (two test matches) sitting there with the bare minimum the rules require (though in reality Ofa offers some cover).

So why was TTT chosen ahead of Hall in the North Island squad? Obviously it had nothing to do with form as TTT hardly played. It could be any of the above halfbacks but often the selection is based on what that player offers relative to others in the same position than current form. And we are talking about the 4th halfback here.

There is also no way Ta'avao is an option at LH despite what the journos say. Just who that LH prop would be is anyone's guess.

Wonder who the next cab off the rank is?
Uncapped All Black Quinten Strange has left the All Blacks camp in Hamilton with an ankle injury. The Crusaders lock is understood to be out for six to eight weeks, effectively ruling him out fo the upcoming Bledisloe Cup and Rugby Championship.
