NZ Sevens 2024-25

@Bovidae Interesting that Tepaea Cook-Savage is not on the 'Unavailable due to injury' list and this article suggests that he has left the sevens squad. If so I wonder where he is going? Also Kitiona Vai seems to have been injured for 2 years.
-
@Daffy-Jaffy Yeah, I did find it strange that Cook-Savage was listed amongst the others. He won't be playing for a while either way. Maybe @Steven-Harris knows more.
Kitiona Vai came back from a long injury and injured himself again doing a celebratory dive after scoring a try.
-
@Steven-Harris What about the sevens? It's implied that Cook-Savage is a former NZ sevens player.

@Bovidae I was chatting to Tupaea yesterday at the Northern Region 7s in Morrinsville he’s just had an operation he seemed to think he would be back on the field about March or April next year .
Has bought house in Hamilton and whilst there were discussions with Northland he still has another year to run on his Waikato contract . -
