@Catogrande hopefully he gets cited. The game would benefit immeasurably by preventing "waterboys" from entering the pitch. And penalizing substitutes who enter the field of play to celebrate a try.

A blight on the game and Neil Jenkins should have more respect for the games's ethos and the officials. Give Refs the power to award a penalty to the opposition at halfway to stamp out this crap.

and also a complete humour vacuum beside me

Ken hell mate. Better hope the wife didn't sneak a peek over your shoulder.

Wife was at home. Jr on the other side.

Had stuck up twat who had no sense of humour on my left. Really pissed off we lost so didn't have the chance to be condescending.

Would've liked to see Rieko step up and be a lot more involved, a la Telea. Disappointing

In fact, my hunch is that Telea at 13 and RIoane at 14 would be an improvement!

having this tournament where it is so easy and cheap for away supporters to travel makes me so envious. It's almost quicker (and significantly cheaper) for Scots supporters to fly to Rome than it is for me to fly to Brisbane FFS

I see what @Bones means about Finn Russell. Definitely the fattest skinny first five Iโ€™ve seen since Andy Goode retired.

    France by 2-6.

Sadly close to France by 26 ๐Ÿ˜ž

We gifted at least 14 points and momentum

Well it's good to see the refs have dropped the favouritism. Hard.

@gt12 how did the Sam Gilbert slander work out for you ๐Ÿ˜‰

All jokes aside, hard fought win. Think we should be glad to take that win and get home to regroup and take on the brumbies next week. As someone in the season thread suggested, Expect a couple changes to freshen up. I just hope we stick with Patchell as it is definitely working, injecting Ajay in late has also looked good the last 2 weeks.

We are in a pretty decent place, better than I thought we would be after 3 weeks anyway. Promising start to the season is nice for a change!

@Duluth Yeah, after watching some of the first half, the Brumbies defence and ruck work is really off. Usually they're good as slowing down opposition ball and getting set on defence.

I wonder if the concerns over the organisation's security aren't having an unsettling influence on the players?

Or it could've just been a shit day at the office.

Oh come on, the Tahs were paying $8.50 with the bookies here.

You can spin it any way you like, but a team who has consistently underperformed for the last six or seven years was up against the multiple time defending champions. I wouldn't call it David and Goliath, but maybe David and Goliath's younger brother, Hefty.

We were 13 up with three minutes left and my heart was pounding. I was sure they would somehow come back and dust us. That's the power of the Crusaders. Because that's just they type of shit they do.

That's ignoring the difference between the Crusaders of this year and those previous. Which was the point, I believe.

That also doesn't take anything away from a very good Waratahs performance.
